Stork over Ukraine

In this work, I combined the traditional symbol of Ukraine โ the stork โ with the recognizable silhouette of Kyiv, where the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra occupies a special place. The stork soaring in the golden sky personifies hope, freedom, and connection with the native land, even when it remains only in memories. The use of gold leaf creates an effect of sacred radiance, emphasizing the value and inviolability of Ukrainian culture. The painting is filled with light and warmth, and the contrast between the sky and the architecture enhances the feeling of flight, dreams, and spiritual strength.
